From AMC TV:
If it’s zombie-related or nods to the undead in any direction, we’ll cover it first.
Last Sunday’s “Walking Dead”: Wow, wow, wow, wow, wow. Here’s a behind-the-scenes look from AMC TV:
Michigan State University School of Social Work professor Glen Stutzky is offering an online class on how to survive a zombie invasion. Well played, Stutzky, well played.
From NBC New York: The seven-week class, “Surviving the Coming Zombie Apocalypse: Catastrophes & Human Behavior,” will kick off in May with a simulated zombie plague in which students must use their brains — or lose their brains. He (Stutzky) aims to use the zombie metaphor to teach social work students about how humans behave and interact in times of crisis.
Stutzky will also cover past pandemics such as the Great Plague and the Shaanxi earthquake in China. “Students will learn about the nature, scope and impact of catastrophic events on individuals, families, societies, civilizations and the Earth itself,” he said.
From AMC TV, a behind the scenes look at last Sunday’s killer episode:
From AMC TV, a behind-the-scenes look at last Sunday’s (Season 2, Episode 10) episode of “The Walking Dead”:
Wow, another incredible episode of “The Walking Dead”. Here’s a behind-the-scenes look at last Sunday’s episode from AMC TV:
Still reeling from the ending of Sunday night’s return of “The Walking Dead” on AMC? Yeah, us too. (Although admittedly, my favorite part of the “Nebraska” episode was Daryl calling Lori “Olive Oyl”). Anyway, here’s a behind-the-scenes video from the AMC website that gives us more analysis on the show from producers, along with insight into character actions from the actors themselves:
Well, this is good news. Rumor has it that the screen adaption of Max Brooks’ “World War Z” is destined for not just one film, not just two films, but possibly a trilogy. That’s right, THREE movies starring Brad Pitt vs. zombie apocalypse. Thank you, Hollywood.
Obviously, there’s only one “World War Z” book, but because of how the book is structured, and because of the wealth of zombie awesomeness in its pages, a trilogy isn’t far-fetched at all. Screen Crave has a little more info on their site, as does Fused Film here.
Suffering from zombie withdrawals? Never fear, fellow gamers/zombie freaks. A new zombie game will be hitting the systems later this week. According to Game Guru. In, “All Zombies Must Die!” (from developer doublesix) will be hitting PSN and Xbox Live in a few days. According to the site, it’s a “twin-stick shooter”, with other RPG features like four-player co-op. It’ll be available for purchase on the PSN on December 27th, and on Xbox Live on the 28th (with the Xbox Live version expected to cost around 800 Microsoft Points). Click here to visit GameGuru. In for more info, pics, and video.
If you’re watching AMC’s “The Walking Dead” this season (and you’d better be), you were probably sufficiently disgusted by Episode 4′s zombie in the well. So amazingly gruesome. The AMC website has posted a behind-the-scenes video showing how the special effects staff (Best. jobs. ever.) created this creeper…so cool.
Check it out here: Episode 4, Behind the Scenes.
